Martin Lingnau is one of the most successful composers in Germany, with more than 5 million visitors of his many times awarded productions (international awards e.g. the “Live Entertainment Award” or the “World Event Award”).
He worked as a composer with directors such as Dieter Wedel, Bully Herbig, Walter Moers and Sönke Wortmann as well as the Academy Award prized brothers Lauenstein.
His songs are sang by a wide range of artists: from Annett Louisan to Mary Roos and Maite Kelly to Udo Lindenberg.
He composed over 20 musicals (see below) and composed the music for movies such as “Serengeti”, several television series, international TV productions such as “Charité” and events such as the opening ceremony of the SKI World Cup GAP 2011, which was broadcasted internationally on TV.
Recent works are the two cinema films “Luis and the aliens” and “Outdoors in my head”.
