In the future, it will soon be possible to transfer the lifetime of one person to another. The biotech start-up AEON is making billions in profits with this method. Elena is one day confronted with insurance claims that she cannot service. As a consequence, she has to give up 40 years of her life to AEON. Her husband Max works for AEON and then pulls out all the stops to somehow get back Elena’s lost years of life.
That is the plot of the latest Netflix production called “Paradise”, which is released today!
