For the first time in its history of 100 years, the legendary Friedrichstadt-Palast in Berlin serves as the center of a fictional series. Chris, a young dancer in the chorus is just about to get her first big break, a solo dance, when she meets her twin Marlene, who comes from a conservative family in the West.
